About Me

Who am I?

I'm Shahrzad, a User Experience Designer who believes that good design can make life a little easier and maybe even a little kinder.
I started designing as a teenager, sketching chairs, cars, and small projects just for fun. Over time, I realized I wasn't only designing things , I was trying to make sense of how people live, feel, and interact with the world around them. As Don Norman says,

“Good design is actually a lot harder to notice than poor design, in part because good designs fit our needs so well that the design is invisible.”

I've come to see that we already have plenty of designs in the world but not all of them are good ones. If design can help solve real problems, ease frustrations, and bring a bit of calm to our busy lives, then that's the kind of design I want to create. For me, design is empathy in action , turning confusion into clarity, and small human needs into meaningful experiences for users including Me.

Why I became a designer?

Design, for me, begins with a story : finding the one hidden behind every problem and crafting a better one to tell. Understanding people and their behaviors is the key to creating meaningful digital experiences.
